APR 2024

Campus buildings reopen on April 6th

TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING GALA  - Monday April 8, 2:00-4:30 PM at 17 Franklin St. The CHS Museum Campus and Lucy Bensley Center will be open for tours. Bring a lawn chair to watch the eclipse. Solar Viewing Glasses are available for sale Saturdays at the Mercantile & Wednesdays at the Lucy Bensley Center.

MAY 2024

The following historical talks by Historian Jolene Hawkins are open to the public:

- May 9th, Grand Island Golden Age Center at 10:30 AM

- May 16th Clarence Senior Center at 4:00 PM

- May 23rd Elma Public Library at 2:00 PM

JUN 2024

- June 1st,   Meet local authors and checkout their books at the Lucy Bensley Center during Art Crawl

- June 17-21 SGI Fourth Grade Class Tours of CHS Campus

- June 27
Day trip to Seneca-Iroquois National Museum in Salamanca (Will include buffet lunch at Seneca Allegany Casino. Meet at 17 Franklin St. at 11:00 AM to carpool to Salamanca) (Public Welcome)

- June 11th Aurora Senior Center at TBD

AUG 2024

Tour the Dygert Farm in Springville escorted by experts on the Dygert Farm & Racetrack, Pop Warner & Jim Thorpe, and the Erie County Fair held at this location in the 1860’s. Date & time to be announced.

Come to the Erie County Fair to view CHS’ exhibit on the Springville Dairy Fest August 7 - 18.

SEP 2024

9/14 at 1:00 PM - Hear a talk on R.B. Waite in the Heritage Building. Every person attending receives a free ice cream cone!

Rotating Exhibit Information

FREE exhibit area for local clubs, organizations, and businesses to tell the story of their history. Visitors can enjoy the great contributions your group has made to our local area, for two months. Venue Availability for Groups

Imagine holding your next gathering on nostalgic "Main Street" Springville, in climate controlled comfort. Seating for up to 75, complete with sound system and projection screen. Want to bring a smile to a visitor's face? Become a volunteer guide at one of our great venues.  Help us share the stories that made Springville and the Town of Concord what it is today!
