The Lucy Bensley Geneology Research Center offers a host of resources:
*Springville Journals, SGI Yearbooks, photos, burial records, local genealogical records, maps
*Free access to Ancestry.com and Newspaper.com
*Books on Pop Warner, 1908 Great Race, Civil War and Local History Mysteries
*Town of Concord Historian office onsite
*Open Wednesday and by appointment. Group talks also available
Want to discover your family's stories? At the Lucy Bensley Genealogy Research Center, you
will be able to research our bookshelves, archives, and digitized material that we have
collected containing old Springville Journals, SGI yearbooks, handwritten journals,
photographs, phone books, burial records, and maps. Bring your own computer or tablet, or
we have some that may be used as well. We provide free access to Ancestry.com and
Newspaper.com and have hard copies of genealogical records for some local families. Our
knowledgeable members are always happy to assist you with your research. We keep adding
to our collections so stop by and see what is new.
We have books written by local authors on different topics- Pop Warner, 1908 Great Race,
Local History Mysteries, Reporting from the Past and fiction. We also have an extensive book
collection on the Civil War.
The Town of Concord Historian Offices are now located inside the Lucy Bensley Center, so
there will always be someone there on Wednesdays or by appointment to help you along with
your research! We also give talks to groups, just ask us for more information.
